In this day and age I know a lot of teenagers have the unfortunate stigma of being lazy no-good bums attached to their generation. So it comes to no surprise that when we see a teen do well we devour the story and smile just a little.
The teen in question is 16-year old Shania McDonagh, from Mount St Michael Secondary School. She had recently won the “A” Category in the Texaco Children’s Art competition. One of the most coveted categories in the competition.
Her brilliant master piece titled “Coleman” is the drawing that helped her win the award.
The chairman of the judging panel showered Shania with praise for her exceptional skill and ability.
